OBSERVATION

Grown Strong has been inspiring women to be strong and confident in all aspects of life and is built on the ideals that through fitness their consumers can develop confidence, strength, perseverance and discipline.  But a lack of distinctive appearance left consumers unaware about the Grown Strong message — a challenge as the company looked to reimagine its visual identity to meet the needs of the everyday woman willing to tap into their individual strength.

OBJECTIVE

We were tasked with creating a fresh new look that represents the individual strength of the modern-day woman. Our team constructed a captivating logo and visual identity for their new branding campaign that fits the Grown Strong vision and resonated with their desired targeted audience. It has served to convey their ideas in a way that is not only effective, but also beautiful.

OUTCOME

The Deuxmont team developed a visual expression that features a mesmerizing logo, branding style guide and number of graphic designs that compliment the message Grown Strong was trying to convey. This creative campaign has been successful as the Grown Strong brand partnered with Nike and used the Deuxmont vision for their clothing line, as well as their newly launched nutrition product line. Grown Strong’s online engagement has expanded on all platforms and their presence continues to grow on a global scale.






THE ICON

Grown Strong’s mission is to inspire women to live and breathe their passions so they can feel strong and confident in all aspects of life. So we aspired to create a design to tell the story in a simple, bold, and modern way. There were a variety of cliché directions we could have taken, but we wanted to cultivate something unique. The three strands symbolize a multitude of elements that portray Grown Strong’s vision. "Strength" in it’s stature, "Growth" in it’s plant-like shape, abstract illustration outlining both the "S" and the "G" simultaneously, and wavy finesse symbolizing women. This was a challenge, but we believe we were able to design something beautiful and strong.
